ABOUT FARHEEN KHAN
I was born in Toronto, Canada and grew up with my parents and two older brothers.
Growing up I never imagined I could be a writer. It wasn’t until I had my first two kids who absolutely loved to read that I noticed a gap in the market. There was no one like them in any of their favourite books. I set out to write books filled with humor, adventure, and interesting Muslim characters. In 2008 I wrote my first two chapter books: Ibrahim Khan and the Mystery of the Roaring Lion and Ibrahim Khan and the Mystery of the Haunted Lake.
I took a long break to work on my creative business (another passion of mine) and raise my three kids. I’m now back with Ali and his misadventures. I enjoy writing both mysteries and adventures, but most of all love making my readers chuckle.
All three of my kids inspire me to write, but my youngest son, who loves to design and build things from his imagination, is most like my character, Ali.
